Important Qualities of HR Technology

I recently attended the HR FL conference in August and sat through a great session on the 5 qualities of a CHRO. It got me thinking: What are the important qualities of HR Technology that you should look out for?

1.Always Innovating

Great technology doesn’t just happen overnight. Technology providers have to spend hours creating and maintaining the system. With recent developments surrounding AI, companies that did not integrate these services into their system were soon left in the dust by those who did. Innovation, such as AI integration, alleviates manual processes and puts time back into your hands. Now chatbots can answer employees’ open enrollment questions and deliver analytics on the spot.

2.Honest Communication

HR Technology isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. During the process of meeting with several providers, it is important to know what capabilities do and do not exist within the platform. While a module necessary for the client may not be available today, it could be outsourced or on the roadmap for next year.

3.Problem Resolution

The hallmark of good service is how the mishaps are handled. Normally, assistance is needed at some point, and no one wants to wait several days to get an issue ironed out. 24/7 chat availability or attentive client representatives can change an employer’s experience instantly. Timely and effective resolutions keep clients happy, and having an experienced client services team is integral to this.

These are just some of the standout attributes of what can make or break HR Technology, but there is so much more to finding one that suits you and your clients’ needs. If you need assistance narrowing down your search, don’t hesitate to reach out.
