Scott also is very active in his local community. He is the Founder and Chairman of Fast Start Management, a local non-profit organization that promotes healthy lifestyles and fitness to elementary-aged children. He also serves on several boards throughout the community, is a trustee at his children’s secondary school, and is a former vestry member at his church. Scott’s belief is that his most important experience has come through his role as a husband to Kristin and father to Sam, Jesse, Rose, and Caleb. Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and is a veteran in the United States Navy. "]Scott is the Managing Principal of MillsonJames, which he founded in 2010. Scott consults in the areas of HR technology, HR administration, and benefits management. Prior to founding MillsonJames, Scott was a Partner/Owner with Hewitt Associates (now AonHewitt), where he served in various leadership capacities over his 17 year career with the organization. Following his time with Hewitt, he served as President of a mid-market HR Outsourcing and Benefits Administration company in the Southeast. Scott’s expertise is centered on all things HR technology—payroll, HRIS, benefits administration, private exchanges, applicant tracking, performance management, time/attendance, and related HR areas. Over his 25+ year career, he has worked with clients of all sizes and across all industries—including Citigroup, Verizon Wireless, The Hartford, Mervyns Department Stores, Gannett, and Alcoa. Scott has also consulted with many HR service organizations, helping them maximize their effectiveness and market penetration. Scott is a frequent speaker on HR Technology and has been published in the Florida Society of Human Resource Management magazine. Several topics on which Scott has spoken recently include, Engaging the Millennial Generation, Maximizing Efficiency with HR Technology, Who/How/Why of Private Exchanges, and the very popular Ten Commandments of HR Technology.
